Today Kimberly and I led a Tranquil Teens workshop for a group of middle school girls participating in The Family Support Center’s S.I.S.T.E.R.S.’s/Hermanas program. S.I.S.T.E.R.S. is an after-school empowerment program offering comprehensive outreach, education, and mentoring for girls in upper elementary, middle, and high schools in the DC area. The organization was one of TSF’s first grantees.
